Claire Lynch

Claire has 14 years experience working within a wide range of health and social care settings. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Occupational Therapy and a BSc (Hons) Degree in Psychology with a special interest in the areas of neurological and developmental conditions. Claire also holds an NVQ level 2 and QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care and was awarded a ‘Certificate of Excellence in Practice’ from Cardiff University due to her consistent high standard of Occupational Therapy practice throughout her training.
Claire brings to the company a wealth of experience in areas of complex needs and specialist equipment. She is well versed in working with NHS, social care and private funding, and has extensive experience in the recruitment and management of both support teams and therapy teams
As an occupational therapist, Claire is well versed in writing a range of reports and is confident working with a range of clients in the creation and implementation of holistic and personal centred goal plans.
Claire has occupational therapy and case management experience working in a range of settings covering orthopaedics, brain injury, cerebral palsy, neurodegenerative conditions, amputations, renal conditions, rheumatology hand therapy and terminal illness. Claire also has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages.
Claire has completed various professional development courses related to prosthetics, posture and seating, falls management, the use of AI in health care, and sensory integration for older adults with neurological conditions.
Claire is passionate about empowering and working collaboratively with her clients to achieve their chosen goals. She prides herself on her ability to build therapeutic relationships with client’s and their families, and problem solve through complex issues. Claire is experienced working with interpreters or using a range of communication technology.
